Fibroids

Benign, But Uncomfortable

Fibroids are benign tumorous growths on, in, or around the uterus. They often present in multiples rather than only one, and they present in many different sizes and locations. Depending on placement within the reproductive organs, they may be, but are not often, the cause of infertility.

Fibroids may cause painful and heavy periods, pain during intercourse, stomach or abdominal pains, and an increase in urinary frequency, or they may not be uncomfortable at all. In one out of every thousand patients with fibroids, a fibroid develops into uterine or ovarian cancer.

Staying Positive

For some women with fibroids, the knowledge that it can cause infertility or cancer is enough to be frightening. At the same time, being told that either of these is true would be petrifying. For these women, the online pregnancy test was invented.

An online pregnancy test is more like a simple calculator. You tell the online pregnancy test your age, weight, last menstrual period, etc. - basically, view the online pregnancy test as an admissions nurse at the hospital. The online pregnancy test absorbs all of this information about you, computes, and is able to suggest whether or not you're pregnant. However, an online pregnancy test is not a suitable replacement for a blood or urine-based pregnancy test. Either of those is more accurate and has more basis in actual scientific truth than this clever online calculator called an online pregnancy test.

If you're curious about the online pregnancy test, be warned. There is a joke website out there that sends you to a "fake" online pregnancy test. For example, it claims to work by examining 'Zeta waves' from the mind of the person who entered their information on the website. Anyone with reasonable intelligence should be able to tell this is fake, while they should be spending their time on the other, genuine online pregnancy test. You will know which one is which by reading carefully. Note that the online pregnancy test has checkboxes listing common pregnancy symptoms, while the other one doesn't ask at all.

If you believe you might be pregnant but you don't want to visit the doctor because of your fibroids, you can always purchase a pregnancy test at the store. This is much less embarrassing than a trip to the doctor might be, and more accurate than the online pregnancy test. Still, whatever results you get, both on the online pregnancy test and the standard one, you should discuss with your partner or boyfriend.

You could view the online pregnancy test as part of a ladder: check for symptoms, then purchase a pregnancy test, then, based on those results as well, visit the doctor. If this is something you want to find out in the privacy of your own home, then the online pregnancy test and standard boxed test will be helpful to you.
